In this example we will use the editing capabilities of the software to adjust a route from LOOP Terminal to Rotterdam to reduce the distance within the US ECA by simply moving waypoints by clicking on them and dragging the mouse. The application has the ability to scan a route to establish it's interaction with ECA. This can be used to determine the change in mileage within the ECAs compared with the change in overall mileage. This information can then be used to consider whether such action is commercially beneficial.
